Arignar Anna Institute of Science & technology, established in the year 1999 is a self financing college, located in Kancheepuram district of Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college situated in a 60 acre area has been a pioneer in molding the young talents for more than two decades. In terms of engineering there are number of programmes presented at the institute and there are actually 6 courses in totality under 1 degree. The campus has a different hostel facility for the male and female student for the accommodation of the students who prefer to live in the campus. The boys’ hostel which has three blocks can contain more than 500 students while the girls’ hostel, also having three blocks contains more than 400 students. These hostels function with basic facilities including library/Reading Rooms and recreational facilities like shuttle courts. To ensure the health of its students is taken care of; the college has a health section to provide first aid. Regular exercisers will find that the hotel has a well equipped gym which incorporates trends exercise equipment. The college has a library that is a storehouse of knowledge and key educational instruments, intended for usage by students.

Arignar Anna Institute of Science and Technology has a total of 6 undergraduate full time engineering programs. These are BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering ,Civil Engineering and B.Tech in Information Technology.
