Arihant College, Indore, was established in the year 2005. It is an affiliated college situated at the centre of Madhya Pradesh. Located on a campus of 5.5 acres, it has expanded to be one of the promising college and university in the region. Affiliated to Gujarat University and NAAC accredited, Arihant College provides ample number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different streams. At present, the college has the total students’ strength of 2572 and the faculty member of 12 approved by the NCTE and has  12 educators. Out of 6 courses Arihant College has in 6 discipline, it provides flexible teaching and learning environment and can accommodate students with different aspirations.

Arihant College havemodern facilities to make sure that the experience of the student is made better during their college encounter. The well built library bears collections of books, journals and other information resources as knowledge resources centre of the college. Students can get computers with free internet connection whereby they can use for research or group study. Especially for those students who are interested in sports and fitness facilities, Arihant College provides them with indoor and outdoor sports facilities if interested. The campus houses cricket, volley ball, badminton playing area and chess halls as well. The school has some other facilities; for instance, there is a swimming pool, not only as a playground to rest from the tension of studying but also as an opportunity to swim, taking into account the recommendations of experienced trainers.

The wide variety of academic programmes offered by Arihant College to cater to their career needs. The institution offers 9 courses with various fields of study putting in consideration these have both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. These include full time commerce, management, arts, social work, computer applications and education. The courses which are being offered by the college are B.Com, BBA, BCA, BA, M.Com, and M.Ed. B.Ed is also being offered here and it has an approved strength of 50 students, as a result college is focusing on providing teacher education. 

Admission procedure at Arihant College also favours merit and is simple. It needed to be admitted that the normalised measure of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2 or other equivalents) was given as the basis for admission to most of the undergraduate programmes offered by the university. Unlike the M.ED programme which incorporates a more stringent screening mechanism. The admission to the M.Ed course in college depends on the number of marks in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test. These guidelines loop with the principles set by the State Government UT administration, as well as the affiliated university.
