Arjun College of Technology and Sciences, Hayathnagar: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Arjun College of Technology and Sciences (ACTS) was set up in the year 2006 and is an affiliated college in Hayathnagar, Telangana. Recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), it has constructed a wide spectrum of courses in the fields of engineering as well as management. Envisioned and located in a 10-acre land, ACTS recognised a student enrolment of 656 and an employee base of 228. The college offers over 15 courses across 4 degree levels in engineering disciplines including Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

The college also provides different hostels for boys and girls, which are both secured round the clock and have an ATM . The library is equipped with a very impressive stock, that contains approximately 5900 books and over 30000 volumes including Digital Library for e-learning contents. Sport lovers can seize the opportunity socialise and exercise using the large acres of compound and building structures. As much as the curricular needs of the students are traditional, the associated IT infrastructure is new and can accommodate the needs of a digital learner. Other facilities are a dining hall, transport, recreation hall, and the health facility with first aid services in form of a clinic.

A total of 21 courses are taught by the institution and these include 6 B.Tech, 5 M.Tech specialisations, an MBA and 5 Diploma programmes. All are day programmes and a total of 656 are offered for students in different discipline. 

The college admissions are structured at a ration of 70:30 which means that 70% of the admissions are done through the counsel of the state and the 30% the remaining 30% is under management quota. The candidates with diploma can also get admission in second year of B.Tech courses through lateral entry for which they have to clear the ECET (FDH). Some of the exams for which the institute considers scores are GATE as well as TS PGECET for postgraduate offered in the institute.
