About ACMS Delhi
The Army College of Medical Sciences, Delhi was established in 2008 by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). Army College of Medical Sciences provides qualitative education to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. Army College of Medical Sciences offers programmes in pre-clinical, para-clinical, clinical and other fields.

Established in 2008, the Army College of Medical Sciences(ACMS) is a medical college based in New Delhi. The foundation stone for the institute was laid by the Union Defence Minister Mr George Fernandes in 2004 and was later inaugurated by the then Union Defence Minister Mr AK Antony on 5th January 2009. The institute is private and functions under the aegis of the Army Welfare Education Society. It is also affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University New Delhi. ACMS is recognised by the Medical Council of India. It is ranked 29th in medical colleges. It has total student enrollments of about 500 and has 316 faculty members to support them. Hello aspirant,
One of the well-known private medical schools in the Delhi cantonment area is Army College of Medical Sciences.
No, only widows of former service members and wards of active duty members are eligible for admission to ACMS. So the wards of Ex Navy or Army officials can not take admission in ACMS.
