About Arvind Gavali College of Engineering, Satara

Arvind Gavali College of Engineering was established in the year 2010. This college is affiliated and spread over an area of 10 acres in Panmalewadi, Satara of Maharashtra State in India. The AGCE is an accredited institution by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, NAAC, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE, for the proper delivery of quality education. This college grants 18 courses of diversified offerings at three levels of degrees, thereby accommodating student enrolment of 1,167. A faculty strength of 128 gives AGCE a very favourable student-teacher ratio that is duly conducive to an atmosphere most conducive to personalised learning and academic excellence.

The Arvind Gavali College of Engineering offers diversions and amenities that add a great deal to the whole experience of the students. The campus has a boy's hostel and a girl's hostel, well-furnished for comfortable living with all basic facilities. The central library is a rich knowledge store having a collection of 18,393 volumes, 3,802 titles, and 48 journals that further have spacious reading rooms with a seating capacity of 159 students. The sports and physical fitness-inclined students also have very good infrastructure available, including a well-equipped gym. The infrastructural arrangements in IT are of the very highest level, and the students are updated with the latest technological changes. Other facilities include a cafeteria that provides healthy and nutritious food, an auditorium where several events and seminars take place, and a very efficient transport system that helps in daily commutes. The health and safety aspects are also taken care of, with a medical centre providing first-aid facilities.

In terms of academic offerings, the AGCE provides a rich tapestry of courses that are very much focused on the dynamic demands of the sector. The institute offers 18 courses, which may run from the undergraduate level to the postgraduate level and within these courses is a category of diploma courses. Courses The courses cover full-time B.Tech programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science—the truly innovative discipline. Besides, there is an M.Tech programme in Heat Power Engineering available with AGCE for those willing to take advanced specialisation. Diploma courses in computer engineering, electronics and telecommunication engineering, civil engineering, and mechanical engineering are also available in this college.

Arvind Gavali College of Engineering (AGCE), Satara, offers a wide range of engineering programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma levels. The college has a well-structured admission process that is in tune with the norms set by the educational authorities of Maharashtra. The AGCE admission cycle initiates normally during the May-June months. 

Arvind Gavali College of Engineering admission in the respective programmes is valid from the August-September months. Scores for B.Tech programmes of MHT CET or JEE Main are preferred; however, preference depends on merit obtained in those two entrance examinations for aptitude towards technical education at a strict level. Eligibility criteria for AGCE undergraduate courses are generally passing 10+2 from a recognised board with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. Most courses require an aggregate of at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

College Infrastructure

The college building is new and well spacious. Library is good and contain all types of books are available. Wifi facility are very poor and not available in everywhere. Boys hostel is newly constructed and girl hostel is also there.

Clg is very good. Clg gives us many opportunities.

In my clg infrastructure is outstanding. Staff have a PHD. College campus is very clean.wifi , hostel are also in the college. Classroom, library, laboratory are also huge and good in working condition.
