Aryavart Shiksha Mahavidyalaya is located in the place known as Ruabandha, Bhilai, in Durg under Chhattisgarh, which is a linked college of teacher education that incepted in the year 2009. The institute has been preparing future teachers for the past decade. The compact 1 acre college is located on the campus and is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, which sees to it that the college is committed to delivering teacher training and, therefore, has introduced a Bachelors in Education (B. Ed) programme with an annual enrolment of 100 students. The college maintains a competent faculty of 10 fully trained teachers, thereby making sure that the strength of the teacher student ratio is favourable for individual attention. 

Aryavart Shiksha Mahavidyalaya is structured by well-equipped facilities designed to improve the learning experience of aspiring teachers. A well-equipped library constituting over 3,000 titles on Teacher Education, Physical Education, Social Work, and Computer Science is an indispensable accessory of an academic setup. In a way, it is a treasure house of information sources for the students in and around the B. Ed aspirant degree programmes. The college is built with modern IT infrastructure that avails adequate computing facilities and internet to students, which are essential for present-day educational practices. The college is supported by a couple of well-furnished laboratories, including an Anatomy and Physiology lab with charts, models, and experimental instruments and a science laboratory for experiments. These are requisite for practicals and are part of the training for would-be effective teachers. 

At present, one full-time course is being run at Aryavart Shiksha Mahavidyalaya, which is the Bachelor in Education programme.The B.Ed. course at Aryavart Shiksha Mahavidyalaya is comprehensive and covers the major aspects of theory and practice related to education in order to shape the student into an effective educator in diverse educational settings. 

The admission procedure for Aryavart Shiksha Mahavidyalaya follows a well-structured approach. A student must qualify to appear in the entrance examination. This examination is held annually by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board. The SCERT will inform the arrived rank holders and may ask them to participate in counselling. All admissions will be purely on merit-basis and availability of seats shall get preference. The allotment of colleges will be based on the preference and rank of students obtained on the entrance examination. This make sure that only the most deserving and motivated candidates are selected into the B.Ed. programme.
