Asan Memorial College of Arts and Science, a self financing college established in the year of 1994, located in Chennai Tamil nadu. This affiliated college recognised by AICTE, new Delhi offers wide and vast array of academic programme in different fields. Spread over 12 acres of land, AMCAS today has 2181 total students and 102 faculties. Thus, the college offers 20 courses in nine degree programmes, including specialisation in Computer Science, Microbiology, Hotel & Catering Management, Visual Communication, and Business Administration.

Asan Memorial College of Arts and Science  to offers students not only excellent opportunities to advance their education but also the resource of modern facilities. The college has well-equipped chemistry labs, well-stock modern library with computerised library resources, and Computer Science that will support research and learning with modern technological tools. The campus also provides separate residential facilities for boys and girls for out station students to make them comfortable. Thus, the cafeteria of the twenty-first century has different kinds of food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, to meet the needs of every client.

AMCAS showcases numerous academic programmes which include undergraduate education, postgraduate and research programmes. There are 14 undergraduate and 4 postgraduate and 2 M.Phil programmes offered by the college. Some of the known courses offered are the B.Sc in Computer Science, B.Com, BBA B.M.S, MBA and MCA. MBA programme consists of taking 60 students and the MCA programme has the capacity to take only 24 students. The full-time programmes offered in these institutions are purposefully designed to ensure that the learners are produced with work-related skills and knowledge to solve future work challenges.

Application process at AMCAS may differ from one programme to another. More specifically, for integrating undergraduate level courses mostly, the candidate’s performance in 12th standard examinations is taken into consideration for enrolment. The MBA programme provides admission based on scores of different management entrance examinations like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, TANCET etc. Like the mentioned MCA programme accepts TANCET scores as a basis for admitance into their institution. It also administers its own entrance tests for occasional courses that are offered in the college.
