Ashvin Rural Ayurved College and Hospital, Manchi Hill inaugurated in the year 2000, is one of the leading colleges imparting education as well as health care in the Ayurved system. Sangamner a place in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, this affiliated college stretches over 40 acres of land. 

Ashvin Rural Ayurved College and Hospital has the approval of the Central Council for Indian Medicine since its programme focuses on Ayurveda education. This college has a total strength of 216 students and a faculty strength of 60, It offers 6 courses in 2 different degree programmes in which all streams in totally related to Ayurveda medicine. It is an open co-educational institution which means that the school is ready to accept students of all sexes. The college has amply equipped amenities required to support the learning and development of students as well as their general lifestyle. 

On this campus, there are boy’s hostels and girl’s hostels to enhance the comfort and convenience of the students, the hostels are equipped with some facilities like balconies, dining halls and laundry. A spacious gymnasium helps the fitness freaks, user-friendly timings, and a separate section for boys and girls students. BAMS is the key programme for the college and offers 60 seats for eligible students. At the postgraduate level college offers many MD courses in Ayurveda in different specialisations with 5-6 seat capacity. These are – MD Kayachikitsa, MD Shalya Tantra, MD Rasashastra and Bhaishajyakalpana, MD Stree Rog and Prasuti Tantra, and MD Kaumarbhritya Balrog. Since this is a state and countrywide examination for all students aspiring to become Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery students, only the best students are enrolled into the program by testing their knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

MD Kayachikitsa: The postgraduate program is on general medicine in Ayurveda. Admission to the course is made through the merit obtained in NEET-PG scores. The eligibility for the course is a BAMS degree from the concerned institute.

MD Shalya Tantra: This specialization deals with surgical procedures in Ayurveda. The admission process is the same as with other MD programs and requires qualification with NEET-PG and BAMS degrees.

MD Rasashastra and Bhaishajyakalpana: This course has 6 seats, with an intake that deals with Ayurvedic pharmaceuticals. The admission is done through NEET-PG, and the candidate should have a BAMS degree.

MD Stree Rog and Prasuti Tantra: This course is in the specialization of Ayurvedic gynecology and obstetrics. The admission process is similar to other MD courses.

MD Kaumarbhritya Balrog This is a pediatric program in Ayurveda. Admission is through NEET-PG scores, and the eligibility is BAMS.
