Asifia College of Engineering and Technology (ACET), Hyderabad, is a college that provides various engineering courses at the graduate and postgraduate levels. The college has an orderly admission process under government guidelines and regulations to provide equal and merit-based admission of applicants.
The admission process of ACET usually adheres to Telangana state university academic calendar. Admissions to B.Tech programs are mostly on the merit of the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET), which is organized by the state government. The TS EAMCET normally takes place in May, and the results are declared in June. Application procedures for different courses start after the declaration of entrance test results.
Eligibility criteria for B.Tech courses at ACET are passing 10+2 (Intermediate) studies. For Category A admissions, students must pass 10+2 and TS EAMCET rank. Category B admissions are available for those students who do not write TS EAMCET but secured 60% or above marks in 10+2 exam.
Application Process
The admission procedure of Asifia College of Engineering and Technology is different as per program and category of admission:
For B.Tech programs:
1. Category A (admission via TS EAMCET):
2. Category B (Management Quota):
For M.Tech programs:

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: ACET has two B.Tech courses: Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Both the courses have an approved intake of 60 seats. Both the courses are through TS EAMCET ranking for Category A seats. In Category B seats, 60% marks in 10+2 would suffice for direct admission without TS EAMCET ranking.
M.Tech: The college offers five M.Tech specializations: Digital Systems and Computer Electronics, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Power Systems, Embedded Systems, and Computer Networks and Information Security. There is an approved intake of 18 seats in each M.Tech program. Although no specific admission process for M.Tech is stated, it's probable that admissions are conducted on the basis of GATE scores and/or university-level entrance exam, followed by counseling.
