Asifia College of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Asifia College of Engineering and Technology (ACET) was set up in the year 2002. The college is situated in Chintula, Ranga Reddy district of Telangana state. This 12 acre campus co-educational institute is an affiliated college providing number of engineering programmes. ACET has 101 members in its faculty with a prime motive of designing the future engineers. The college has a provision of 7 courses under two degree programmes and focuses on different branches of engineering at bachelor’s as well as master’s levels.

The college recognises the importance of viable and positive learning environment to its students. ACET has an modern and fully equipped library as a primary source of knowledge among learners and instructors. One thing that the institution takes pride in is the modern Information Technology facilities to allow the students. Every department has well equipped laboratories that are enough for students to practice all the things they learnt in class. The college also encourages alumni activity with presence and interaction between students and practicing professionals. In this respect, ACET avails facilities in sporting activities to make sure that a balance between academic achievements and the all-round development of every learner is achieved. In the same way, the college offers transport facilities allowing students, who live in close by areas, to afford means of getting to the school.

There are 7 courses in this Asifia College of Engineering and Technology which includes undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses. It offered 2 full time B.Tech programmes in Civil Engineering and Electrical and Electronic Engineering and 5 full time M.Tech programmes in Embedded System, Digital Systems and Computer Electronics, Computer Networks and Information Security, Electrical Power Systems, and Computer Science and Engineering. The B.Tech programmes are four-year duration and the M.Tech programmes are two-year duration programmes. In total, the approved is 252 for all courses, the B.Tech programmes are approved for 120 students, and M.Tech 132 students. 

As for administration, admission in Asifia College of Engineering and Technology is in line with the government rules and regulation. For the B.Tech programmes there are only two types of admission categories to be discussed here. Then those candidates who have passed in their Intermediate and got ranks in the TS EAMCET coming under Category A. While, Category B is for candidates who have not taken EAMCET but have passed the exam with 60% marks for the 10+2 level. The TS EAMCET is the only entrance test recognised by the institute for admission into its B.Tech programmes. Regarding the TS EAMCET and other procedure related to the college, students should follow the scheduled dates to fill the application.
