Aska Science College was founded in 1968 and is affiliated with an university located at Aska, Odisha. This great establishment featuring recognition from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, NAAC brings forth a wide range of undergraduate courses. At present, located on a 6.182 acre land, the college has 1,711 student population and 30 members of faculty. 

Management of the college has expressed its strength in making sure that students get best environment within which to learn with different facilities needed by the students. The library that one of the integral parts of the institution has a stock of 42500 books and is in the process of automating it by using e-Granthalaya software. It is much expected that this digital transition will serve the purpose of increasing the interfaces to the resources as well as improving the efficiency of using such resources. As for practical skills, the college has provided well equipped departmental laboratories for improving its students. Students can also avail college canteen facility in the college to have a break and have their drink and snacks. It is aware of the place that physical fitness occupies and offers sports amenities for every student. Also, there is a boys’ hostel which can accommodate thirty students for those who need the university to provide accommodation. The college also has a health centre where first aid is accessed and has a shop where basic needs and some services such as photocopying are accessible.

Aska Science College teaches six undergraduate courses which are full time programmes. These include B.Sc, B.Com, B.Com(Hons), BA, B.Sc Mathematics Group,  and B.Sc Biology Group.
