Asra College of Engineering and Technology, Sangrur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Asra College of Engineering and Technology (ACET), was set up in the year 2009 and is situated at Sangrur in the state of Punjab. This affiliated college recognized from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) provides excellent engineering courses. Located on 26 acres, ACET has enrolled its total of 255 students and 72 numbers of faculties. 

It has gotten to a point that ACET can pride itself in owning numerous facilities that can improve the experience of a student. There is also an internet enabled library with e-books and e-journals, well equipped laboratory, and computer laboratory with fully wireless internet connection. In Physical fitness, it has a gymnasium, athletic track, and field with facilities for cricket and hockey; and for swimming pool. The college also has dedicated hostel facilities for boys and girls so that the students feel comfortable while living in the hostel. There are provisions for the sale of foods and beverages; a canteen and Nescafe outlet, and health; a first aid facility as well as an ambulance service. The college currently operates having a list of 35 functional buses that mainly transport students and staff within a 60kilometer radius of the college .

Indore brings to the students four B.Tech programs, three M.Tech programs, as well as four Diploma programs. All programs are full time and around 408 seats are available in different specialty areas. 

Ing admission to ACET is done based on the program of interest in the institution, Ing a different process from the other programs. Originally there were three B.Tech programs and Admission process was through JEE Main scores for these Courses. The admission criteria of M.Tech admit the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The college also considers other entrance examination results for certain courses In addition.
