Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Degree College, Bangana was established in 2007 situated in Una district of Himachal Pradesh. Located in a 4.7 acre land, this government enity has been categorised to provide 11 courses under eight degree programmes. It is affiliated with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) thus providing quality education in it. The college has a total of 859 students and a staff strength of 14, therefore offering the students favourable environment to learn. 

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Degree College has additional amenities meant to improve the total student experience on campus. Dr. Vinod Kumar, Assistant Professor of Sanskrit has developed the library and the college has a rich stock of books in addition to eight newspapers and six magazines subscribed to by the college. At post graduate level, the college has MA in Hindi and English, M.Com, while at a post graduate diploma level the college provides PGDCA.
