Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ABVSME) is situated within one of India’s premier University, and is a school of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in New Delhi. This is still a fairly young school, which began its work in 2018, but it has already become famous in the world of management education. Each one of ABVSME institutions is located in the national capital of India and shares the academic tradition of JNU. The school offers three courses, an MBA, a Ph.D. in Management for scholars with prior university experience and a diploma programme in Entrepreneurship for students with diverse educational needs. 

The college takes pride of its establishment for offering various facilities to the students that would help them in their learning. The school offers a well stocked library which is termed as the passage to wisdom. With help of this resource centre students are able to get acquaintanted with the key concepts of the great scholars calling them to join the process of the accumulating the world’s knowledge. For those who are interested in carrying out physical activities, the college provided the necessary amenities such as sports for the students conductance amidst the conductance of academic work. The campus also consists of a cafeteria where the learners and other members of staff can go and take meals together. An auditorium is also used as event or seminar venue that encourages intellectual discussions and cultural programmes. Also, ABVSME is well facilitated with advanced IT facilities in order to provide students acquisition of modern business education technology.

The school is academically inclined with a wide range of programmes to offer to learners. ABVSME provides three full-time courses, an MBA programme  with an entry of 75 students, a Doctor of Philosophy in Management and a Diploma in Entrepreneurship. Of all the programmes, MBA has been deemed one of the most challenging to undertake and still secure admission into. 

The admission process at ABVSME is made in such a way that only the best students are selected among the numerous customers. For MBA programme, candidate must have appeared in the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the IIMs. At the first stage, CAT score is used to select candidates for the second stage that leads to the GD and PI stages depending on the scores obtained on the test. The last list is prepared by giving 70% weight to CAT score, 10% weight to Group Discussion (GD), and 20% to Personal Interview (PI). Strict selection is done by a comprehensive evaluation of the potential candidates to ensure only the best are selected to the programme. International applicants require a valid GMAT score of at least 500 and a Bachelor’s degree. The specific requirements for the Ph.D. in Management and the Diploma Programme in Entrepreneurship are different from those reflected above.
