The AV Kamalamma College for Women, Davangere was started in the year 1967 and is a well known Womens College situated at Davangere, Karnataka. This affiliated college in recognised by the NAAC and provides several major courses that lead to undergraduate degree. poised on a four acre land, the college has a total enrolment of 1,784 students and has a faculty of 26 members. Holding 9 courses under 4 degree programmes offered, the institution offers professional course arts, commerce, and science. 

AV Kamalamma College for Women provides a variety of services to support the academic process for students throughout the college. The library which is considered as one of the most important academic facilities contains 34,500 books and magazines, dictionaries, encyclopedia and educational CDs.
