The AV Kamalamma College for Women, Davangere was started in the year 1967 and is a well known Womens College situated at Davangere, Karnataka. This affiliated college in recognised by the NAAC and provides several major courses that lead to undergraduate degree. poised on a four acre land, the college has a total enrolment of 1,784 students and has a faculty of 26 members. Holding 9 courses under 4 degree programmes offered, the institution offers professional course arts, commerce, and science. 

AV Kamalamma College for Women provides a variety of services to support the academic process for students throughout the college. The library which is considered as one of the most important academic facilities contains 34,500 books and magazines, dictionaries, encyclopedia and educational CDs. It has a computerised Section and another reading Section for students who are in different classes and course work. The institution also has a well-equipped auditiorum, which sits 500 people, ideal for holding of different events and functions. For physical fitness, thus the college offers gym and the sporting activities that one needs in this college. The IT facilities enable today learning methods while departmental laboratory provide practical experience on matters concerned with various departments. Other facilities such as canteen, guest house, and a ample parking area are provided to enable enhanced student and guests’ comfort throughout the campus.
