AVS College of Engineering and Technology, popularly known as AVSCET, was established in the year 2002 at Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. The institution located at AVS Nagar, Veerannan Kannupur village, the Venkatachalam Mandal locality has a co-educational institute with the aim of providing quality engineering education. This affiliated college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in different streams of engineering. To provide close attention and guidance to each student, the college has a faculty strength of 39 members. Full time under graduate as well as post graduate courses are given special emphasis in the institute. Undergraduate College: The undergraduate college of AVSCET offers four-year B.Tech programmes in the fields of Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. For those who seek specialisation with great perfection, AVSCET offers a two-year M.Tech programme in Computer Science and Engineering. Sanctioned strength of students in college is quite large. It is having 120 seats each for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering as well as Electronics and Communication Engineering, 60 in Civil Engineering, and 30 in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Intake for M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is 18.
