Awasthi College of Law, Nalagarh, was established in 2019, and it a budding college which offers courses in law in the state of Himachal Pradesh in India. Situated in the beautiful town of Nalagarh, the college functions on a small area of just three acres in size. This institute is in its infancy and is already nationally accredited by the Bar Council of India, thus guaranteeing its dedication to the academic preparation of learners in the legal speciality. At the present time, the college has two full-time programs in law faculty of 6 members that provides an effective learning experience for students interested in legal practice.
This college has invested in the following facilities in a bid to complement the learning achievement goals as well as the personal development of the learners. Of significance in all these amenities is a library which will comprise of books and other information and education materials. It assists students in their learning process and faculty in their research, and therefore it’s goal is to foster literate users, where by users must develop an appreciation and passion for reading. The facility that the college takes pride in is the Moot Court which is a very important apparatus for aspiring lawyers to practice advocacy in a court like setting. In line with this, Awasthi College of Law has provided great IT facilities so that students can enjoy modern facilities in the technological world. It also has facilities for sports, laboratories, and a health facility that contains first aid for students tweaking wellness into the student. For students who need to be housed, the college has available hostel for both male and female students, hence, allowing them afford a comfortable place to live other than their homes.
Thus, in its academic portfolio, the Awasthi College of Law today offers only two extensive programs of law. The flagship five-year BA LLB integrated course for which the university has the permission to admit 60 students every year. The three year LLB program is also offered to the students who have completed their undergraduate degree in any discipline. The two courses are available in full time mode of study ensuring the students can have a full time involvement in their legal learning.
