AWH Engineering College is an affiliated college located in Calicut, Kerala which broadly came into existence in the year of 2001. The criteria for admission in AWH Engineering College are merit, which are inline with the regulations set by the government such as commissions. For B.Tech programs admissions are taken as per the merit list issued by the Government Entrance Commission for merit quota and as per the rules and regulation instructed by government for management quota. M.Tech programs are 50% of the government reserved where admissions are taken through online portal/website – DTE. The remaining fifty percent comes under management quota where admissions are directly done by the college management following Standards XII marks. The MCA program also has end term qualification examination that a candidate is expected to undertake in any examination conducted by authority as may be stipulated by the university or AICTE or as may be recommended by the concerned government.

The college follows the normal procedure for admission according to merit based on the government and results from the entrance examination. B.Tech: AWH Engineering College offers B.Tech programs in areas such as Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Admission is through KEAM results and a merit-list published by the Government Entrance Commission, with intake capacity varying between 30 and 120 seats as applicable to the program.
M.Tech: The college provides M. Tech courses in Structural Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Power Electronics, and VLSI Design. There are 50% of the total seats to be filled by the government quota and by another 50% of the total intake through management quota. Students will be given admission by the DTE, while management quota admissions are based on merit as determined by the college authority.
Master of Computer Applications: AWH Engineering College offers 60 seats for its Master's program in Computer Applications.
