B. K. Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology –BKBIET established in 2007 is a renowned engineering college situated in Pilani Rajasthan. This affiliated college is approved by All India Council of Technical Education, offering quite a number of faculties of engineering in it’s vast 18.04 acres site. It has a total student enrolment of 1198 and total faculty members are 54. This shows that BKBIET has all the necessary facilities for a better and quality education. The institute teaches 10 courses in various fields as part of two programs B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering and B.Tech Data Science Artificial Intelligence and VLSI Design and Technology.
The facilities available in BKBIET include other infrastructural facilities in enhancing the learning process of the students. This institute has its own hostels for boys and girls with having a total of 1000 seats each. These hostels are supported by mess facilities within they provide neat and healthy foods to the occupants. To enhance the health status of its students, BKBIET therefore has a medical centre with visiting physician, and a resident medical orderly. For the major health care problems student have the opportunity to avail the multi-speciality Birla Sarvajanik Hospital located close by. The campus also boasts of possessing a well endowed gym so that students can keep fit while attending their lessons. In order to enhance field-related learning, the BKBIET has installed laboratory facilities by department. This campus has well developed IT facilities which provide the students a proper facility of IT for their coursework or any projects.
BKBIET provides a total of 9 programs with both the undergraduate and postgraduate degree program. Currently the institute offers total 7 B.Tech programs and 2 M.Tech programs of which all the B.Tech programs as well as M.Tech programs are full time only.

B.K. Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology (BKBIET), Pilani, is a premier engineering college of Rajasthan. The institute provides a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various disciplines of engineering. BKBIET's admission process is meant to choose the deserving and meritorious candidates through a formalized process.
The direct admissions to BKBIET are done on the basis of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main ranks. The admissions are done on the basis of Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) norms. It makes sure that the institute gets the best engineering entrants from all over the country.
For under graduate courses, students should hold 10+2 education in subjects of Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. The admission process is usually conducted in sync with JEE Main exam dates that are held two times a year. Students running after their career goals should always be aware of JEE Main dates, usually announced in the months of January and April.
Application Process
The admission process to B.K. Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pilani, is most notably by way of JEE Main ranks for the admission to B.Tech course. The step-by-step process of the admission process is as below:
1. JEE Main Examination: Firstly, candidates need to appear in JEE Main Examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The test is typically conducted twice a year in January and April.
2. JEE Main Result: Wait for the result of JEE Main to be announced by NTA. Check if you are fulfilling the minimum qualification requirements as required by BKBIET and REAP.
3. REAP Registration: Register for Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP). It is a centralized process of admissions for engineering colleges of Rajasthan.
4. Choice Filling: During the REAP counselling, fill in your choices of colleges and courses. Make sure to include BKBIET and your preferred B.Tech programs in your choices.
5. Seat Allotment: Based on your JEE Main rank and the choices filled, seats will be allotted through the REAP process.
6. Document Verification: If allotted a seat at BKBIET, report to the institute for document verification. Carry all necessary documents such as:
- JEE Main score card
- 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
- Category certificate (if issued)
- Domicile certificate (if necessitated)
- Any other document as may be specified by REAP or BKBIET
7. Fee Payment: On successful document verification, pay the fee as needed to validate your admission.
8. Orientation and Classes: Participate in the orientation program and begin your classes as per the academic calendar.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech Courses BKBIET provides seven B.Tech programs with a capacity of 480 seats. B.Tech courses are admitted on the basis of JEE Main ranks and according to REAP norms. The B.Tech programs provided are:
1. Computer Science and Engineering (120 seats)
2. Data Science (60 seats)
3. Artificial Intelligence (60 seats)
4. Information Technology (60 seats)
5. Electronics and Communication Engineering (60 seats)
6. Electrical Engineering (60 seats)
7. VLSI Design and Technology (60 seats)
For all B.Tech courses, the overall fee structure is Rs. 355,100.
M.Tech Courses: BKBIET also has two M.Tech courses:
1. M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (18 seats)
2. M.Tech in VLSI Design (18 seats)

College Infrastructure
Best in infrastructure , facilities and other things as per required like smart classrooms, better laboratories, spacious library with thousands of books, sports facilities are also available, hostel having good interior with best quality of food in the mess and canteens.

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is good. There is canteen for food facilities, open amphitheatre for event purpose movie nights annual function farewell parties and many more events which can be possible in campus.

College Infrastructure
The campus of the college is good. I have a good On-Campus experience when I was in college. The campus is 7.86 Lakh square feet sprawling campus allows us to explore different ideas and ways of leading. It has modern classrooms, fully-equipped laboratories, expansive libraries, a Cultural and creativity Center, Professional training and Research center, an auditorium, extensive indoor and outdoor sports facilities, a gymnasium, and Medical Center.

BK Birla institute of engineering and technology, Pilani is one of the best engineering colleges in Rajasthan .....
Every student is eligible for campus placement after 3rd year. Many companies have visited the campus for placement and many offers are offered to the students. The highest package offered is 12.08 lakhs per annum and the average package offered is 4.5 lakhs per annum.
Most probably more than 80% of the students are getting placement from campus.

Yes, you can change your branch, as per engineering rules there is a chance to change your branch for second year not only branch you can even change your college too but for that your first year i.e, 1st and second semester scores should be more and the branch or college you are willing to join must have seat availability or vacancy.
