Baba Budha College, Tarn Taran: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Tarn Taran Baba Budha College was set up in 1969, and it is an affiliated college situated in the country of Punjab. Located on the 14-acre land this co-educational institution of higher learning offers a program in different fields of study. The current student enrolment is 187 students with a teaching faculty of 14 members in the college. Baba Budha College offers 7 programs in 5 streams majoring subjects like Arts, Commerce, Computer Applications and Sciences etc. 

The following are among the existing facilities in this college which are intended to aid the student’s learning process: The library – one of the basic academic facilities – contains more than 3,500 books, national and international journal, periodicals, newspapers and magazines. It also has been designed with the capacity to accommodate 150 student seath, and also avails ‘free browsing internet and access to an e-library subscribed to nationally. The laboratory facilities include computer laboratories, science laboratories, multimedia laboratory and hi-technology laboratory. Since the school is aware of the state of health of students, it has a health centre which has first aid services. The college possesses fairly developed info technology: there is about 70 computers connected to the Internet, and in all labs and departments the computers, printers and scanners are available round the clock.

Baba Budha College has 7 degree courses in total and all the courses are full time. These are the Undergraduate degree courses offered in the institution including, BA, B.Com, B.Sc Economics, BCA, B.Sc Computer Science, B.Sc Information Technology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications PGDCA. 

This means that the admission of students at this college depends mainly on the first come first served and merit. In the case of B.Com programme the college clearly mentions that admission is done strictly on these parameters.
