Baba Farid College of Management and Technology, Bathinda: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Baba Farid College of Management and Technology (BFCMT) is a self financed college established in 2008 which is located at Bathinda, Punjab. This affiliated college which is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education is engaged in imparting management education on its 10 acre campus . On the gender consideration, BFCMT has 54 % males while 46% of the students in the school are females and the total enrollment is 189 students. This institute has a faculty of 11 members and currently it has only one postgraduate program. As a management institute, BFCMT intended to offer quality education to the student community to equip them with the best in class learning environment.

The college provides various facilities that improve student’s life. The campus consist of Two air conditioned hostels for Boys and Girls each with the capacity of 300 student intake. The rooms are well furnished with wash room facilities attached and cheap healthy vegetarian meals are provided for hostel trios. The library of BFCMT is air condition and has networking facility with around 620 titles and 6434 volumes and 31 National and International Journals. The college also has well equipped computer laboratory with modem computer terminals and the ability to access internet at anytime. For physical fitness, there is a gymnasium with all the amenities required for various exercising activities. The accessories of the campus comprise a cafeteria, an auditorium, and internet connection amenity.

BFCMT currently offers one full-time postgraduate program: MBA – Master of Business Administration. The MBA has received the approval for the intake of 120 students. The institute aims to offer extensive management training in order to produce graduates who are ready to perform in today’s business environment.

The admissions process at BFCMT has been structured in a way that admits students capable of undertaking MBA course as well as those that have the passion for the program. It considers the academic achievements of the candidate in the prior degree programs and other standard aptitude tests or interviews are often considered while selecting the successful candidates in the premier management institutes.
