BHSBIET, started in 2005, in Lehragaga, Punjab, is named Baba Hira Singh Bhattal Institute of Engineering and Technology. This affiliated college provides engineering programs with the facilities and accommodation to cover over 19.4 acres of campus size. With a seating capacity of 180 enrolled students and 23 faculties BHSBIET offers a selective learning atmosphere. 

The institute has an impressive complement of the available infrastructure aimed at improving the student outcomes. The campus has a separate hostel for boys and girls, which is provided with all necessary amenities like 24 hours internet connection, solar heated hot water supply in each room and power back up. Regarding health and medical care, BHSBIET has its hospital with 24-7 allopathic and homeopathic medical practitioners and a pharmacy store. The faculty of engineering of BHSBIET provides a wide spectrum of engineering programs at under graduate level and diploma. The institute offers 4 full-time B.Tech programs and 5 full-time Diploma programs are also offered by the institute. The B.Tech programs take four years to complete while the Diploma offered here take three years to complete. These courses are in the major areas of engineering including computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical engineering mechanical engineering, and information technology. Consequently, most of the courses taught in the institute are professional-oriented education that addresses current marketplace demands.
