Baba Parmanand Kanya Mahavidyaalya, Jakhepal, set up in 2012, is a women’s college affiliated to GGS instead of a University in the state of Punjab in India. Located across the state bank of India at Jakhepal, it is a women’s college with primary focus on offering proper education to the female students. The college occupies 3 acres of campus area and is currently educating 197 students. The college currently has a faculty strength of 19 members which makes the student teacher ratio very comfortable. Baba Parmanand Kanya Mahavidyalya currently has four different courses since degrees are usually classified according to the fields of specialisation as follows.

Baba Parmanand Kanya Mahavidyalya strives to produce a favourable learning environment to the students together with other learning amenities meant to facilitate their learning needs. Thus, Baba Parmanand Kanya Mahavidyalya offers a total of four full-time courses so that students can have some plurality of optional choices. The college's programme lineup includes three undergraduate degrees: There are three years Bachelors Degree courses such as Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). In addition, the institution provides a one academic year postgraduate diploma in computer application for those who seek employment or advancement in computer field.
