Baba Ramdev Smarak Mahavidyalaya, Ghazipur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Baba Ramdev Smarak Mahavidyalaya is an Institute situated in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh; established in the year 2012. Located on a very small piece of property of only 2.5 acres in size, this college has been expanding both its programs and facilities. The institution is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) so as to provide quality education in its teacher training programmes. Presenting a student strength of 1313 and a faculty strength of 29, the college ensurs a healthy student- faculty ratio which is important for teaching learning process. 

This college boast of having different variety of amenities aimed at making the experience of students a richer one. The increased number of sports facilities will ensure that young profession of physical activities will benefit from well maintained children’s playgrounds and general sports equipment. The college library operates as theana knowledgelibrary in which students can find a vast array of academic materials. For practical learning, the institution has functional, departmental laboratories to support different practical courses. Also, the college has had a strong consideration of quality IT facilities to keep students informed on technological developments in their areas of specialization. 

The Baba Ramdev Smarak Mahavidyalaya has given eight courses in five different degrees to offer opportunities to the learner. The institution offers its programs both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has a balance of full-course students. The programme of Bachelor of Arts (BA) is delivered and is highly popular among the students as it has the highest intake capacity of 420. Other main courses offered are B.Sc., M.A. and B.A. in Hindi, Geography, Sociology and Home Science and B.Ed., D.El.Ed. The B\.Ed and D\.El\.Ed courses with a total of 200 seats emphasize on teacher education in the college.

Admission procedure of the Baba Ramdev Smarak Mahavidyalaya differs with each course of study. Admission to the B.Ed programme for the current academic year is as follows: The seats are filled strictly on merit basis whereby the marks scored in the qualifying examinations/entrance [...] as per the rules and regulation of state government and respective university. The D.El.Ed program currently requires the Common entrance test or merit basis that is set by the University/State Government.
