The Babu Kamta Singh Mahavidyalaya is affiliated college was set up in the year 2011 in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. This NCTE approved institution provides various undergraduate and diploma courses to meet the student’s needs. The Entrance exam are only conduct for B,Technical & MCA courses where as M,Technical,BA,MPT & BBA is another entrance exam which conduct in our college,The college has total 653 students and 13 faculties which make it focus institute. As for now the institute provides three different programs throughout Arts and Education which is suitable for individuals with different types of focus and goals. The college has adopted strict standard of education, it being fully equipped with facilities for the benefit of the students.

The campus has a well-furnished library, for book academics and other forms of research for scholars and students. To enhance the health well-being of the students, for those who are interested in physical activities, sports amenities are provided to balance students activities between school work and recreation. The college also preserves the departmental laboratories and once in awhile allow the students to use them for practical exercises that are essential for learning. Knowing that the role of technology in the current world cannot be ignored, BKS Mahavidyalaya has had an efficient IT infrastructure by providing Wi-Fi facility throughout the campus so that the students and the staff get the facility of computers and internet. 

The college provides a total of three full time courses out of which all the courses are planned as per the new era of educational system and job sector. The Three-year program with Bachelor of Arts as its award focus on humanities and social sciences. To prepare teachers for the teaching profession the college has the two-year Bachelors in Education (B.ED) program with an admission capacity of one hundred students. However, the institute also offers a two-year diploma course in Elementary Education(D.El.Ed) for 50 students to produce teachers to teach at primary level. This combined total admission of diverse co-curricular programs represents one-third of the college’s total student enrollment at 653 and shows its dedication to preparing students for teacher and other professions.
