Badruka Institute of Management Studies, Hyderabad Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Badruka Institute of Management Studies (BIMS) has established its identity as one of the reputed management institutes in Hyderabad-Telangana. BIMS offers postgraduate courses in specialized management areas catering to the emerging corporate demand for talent. The admission process of BIMS basically commences with candidates taking national-level entrance exams. The institute entitles scores obtained in various management aptitude tests such as CAT (Common Admission Test), XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test), MAT (Management Aptitude Test), and ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions) to be applied for admissions. 

These exams are open for a period typically extending from November to February each academic session. Those who clear the entrance test are then going to be called to take part in a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) at the Badruka Campus. These stages help in evaluating the overall potential of candidates along with communication skills, analytical capability, and leadership qualities.

Application Process

These are the general steps followed in application for both PGDM and PGDITM programs at Badruka Institute of Management Studies:

1. Entrance Exam: Candidates have to appear for any of the entrance exams as mentioned above. Note the exam dates:

• XAT: Generally comes first week January (next exam date: January 4, 2025)
• MAT: Conduct many times in a year (next application deadline for PBT February session: March 1, 2025 )
• CAT: Usually happens in November till December
• ATMA: Many a times during the year

2. Application Submission: After receiving the scores for the entrance exams, the candidates have to apply to BIMS. The application process probably consists of:

• Filling out the application form (online or offline as the institute says)
• Submitting the required documents which include:
• Entrance exam score card
• Graduation degree certificate and mark sheets
• 10th and 12th standard certificates
• Work experience certificates (if any)
• Other relevant certificates that the institute specifically mentions

3. Shortlisting: Based on the performance in the entrance exam and academic records, candidates are shortlisted by BIMS for the further selection round.

4. Group Discussion and Personal Interview: Qualified candidates will be invited at Badruka Campus for:

5. Final Selection: The final selection is made based on a composite score that usually takes into account :

• Score of the entrance exam
• Academic performance in previous degrees
• Performance in group discussion
• Performance in personal interview

6. Confirmation of Admission: The candidates who have been selected will be duly informed and required to undergo an admission process involving:

• Payment of required fees
• Submission of original documents for verification
• Any other formalities as prescribed by the institute.

Degree wise Admission Process

PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management): The PGDM program at BIMS is a two-year full-time course designed with the aim of developing professional managers. The admission procedure for PGDM is given below:

1. Qualifying in CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA or any other state-level management entrance test.
2. Candidates with below 50% in graduation must mandatorily appear for one of these entrance tests.
3. Shortlisted and called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at Badruka Campus.
4. Final selection to be based on performance in the entrance exam, GD and PI.

PGDITM (Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology Management): PGDITM is another two-year full-time program of BIMS to integrate management with information technology. The admission process followed by PGDITM is similar to that of PGDM:

1. Applicants need to qualfy under CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA or any other recognised management entrance test.
2. Those with less than 50% in their graduation must appear for one of these entrance exams.
3. Group Discussion and Personal Interview is conducted at the Badruka Campus for shortlisted candidates.
4. Final Selection is based on overall performance in Entrance Exam, GD and PI.
