Bagnan College and has since been affiliated to the rural college located at Bagnan, West Bengal.  Normally admissions into Bagnan College take place at the July-August commencement of the academic year. The admission process is quite stringent and competitive based on the candidate's marks obtained in the relevant subjects at the 10+2 level. The B.Sc programs have a total intake of 162 seats for the general course, which are increased with additional seats for the honours courses.

B.Com Programs: Bagnan College also offers distance learning in B.Com programs. Much like the other disciplines, the admission process of B.Com is fairly similar with that in consideration of the candidate's academic performance at the 10+2 level, especially in subjects related to commerce.
