Balaji Institute of Education, Narasampet was started in 2001, affiliated with Osmania University Warangal District, Telangana. It is a teacher education institute being recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Currently, the college is located on an area of 6.3 acres and offer two full time course. The institute maintains a student-faculty ratio of approximately 6:1, with 51 enrolled students, and 9 faculties. Balaji Institute of Education is providing effective and efficient teaching quality in the premier field by providing B.Ed and D.EL.ED.

Balaji Institute of Education has several learning facilities for effective and efficient student learning and development. Learners are exposed to a fully stocked library with over 4000 volumes of books and 10 national and international journals for practice. There is also a psychology laboratory, curriculum resource center, language laboratory, work experience and art education laboratory, and computer laboratory on the campus for practical use of students. Regarding physical fitness for recreation, students enjoy a spacious playground for outdoor activities inclusive of football and handball/ cricket, basket ball, volley ball, and a gym facility for workout. The college also has a health facility that is endowed with first aid facilities to help students who fall sick.

Balaji Institute of Education offers two primary courses: B.Ed and D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education). They are both full time programs which take two years to complete but still distinct from one another. These are courses that are meant to build capacity for students with a view to being moulded into teachers who will address the teaching needs in different levels of education.

The admission procedures which are in practice for Balaji Institute of Education include entrance tests related to every course. For the program like B.ED, the admissions are offered through the Ed.CET (Education Common Entrance Test). The eligible candidate who willing to take D.El.Ed course must take the DEECET, (Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test). These entrance tests make certain that candidates have the ability and are willing to undertake teachers training. The institute follows the admission schedules and procedures as provided by different examination bodies.
