Balaji Institute of Higher Education was set up in the year 2016, therefore, it is a young institution which is sited in Keshavpur, Jakhania, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. This co-educational institute specialises in teacher education programmes, offering two full-time courses: Bachlors in Education (B. Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D. Ed.). Affiliated with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), this institute runs from a compact area measuring 0.81 acres. It has current total students’ enrolment of fifteen students and faculty strength of only one which makes the Balaji Institute suitable for providing training to future teachers. 

Balaji Institute of Higher Education has some structures which offer a boost to the conduct of classes for students of the institute. The courses offered at Balaji Institute of Higher Education can be mainly categorised into two courses in the field of education. The B.Ed programme is a two-year full-time course that was accorded the approval to have an intake of 100 students. The other eligibility course is the Diploma in Elementary Education D.El.Ed: a two-year full-tiime programme having 50 seats. These programmes are meant to train students for teaching practice at different levels of the education system. The institute provides 150 seats for the admission of students in its premise, as the institute believes in keeping quality standards high and maintaining an optimum student faculty ratio. 

Like all other institutions, admission policies of Balaji Institute of Higher Education are in consonance with the Uttar Pradesh government policies as well as the affiliated university standards. For both the B.Ed and the D.El.Ed programmes, admission are through merit which includes the mark obtained in the qualifying examination and or any entrance test.
