Balaji Mahila Mahavidhyalaya, Sawaimadhopur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

This College for Women, affiliated to University of Rajasthan was established in the year 2007 and is located in Sawai Madhopur Rajasthan. Based on the fact that it has a 2 acre space, this institution is a women only establishment which provides undergraduate and postgraduate studies. It has a total number of students currently as 403 and the faculty and staff of this college comprises 12 members. Conveying the message of education for women, Balaji Mahila Mahavidhyalaya offers 5 courses in 3 degree programs with emphasis on arts and science to enroll young women for the further knowledge.

The college has many infrastructural facilities aimed at developing the learners’ learning and other valuable personalities. There is central academic library to support different academic needs, which offers up to 5000 books, periodicals and audio-visual aids. It also has fitted out modern laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology while Science students are exposed to practical sessions. To enhance Digital Competency, the school has a large Lit Computer Lab where student can acquire basic IT skills. There are also sports facilities, gymnasium and an auditorium with social and recreational activities as well as co curricular activities and functions. According to the students’ convenience, the campus facilities include a cafeteria, medical facilities with first aid, and transport. However, what takes a lot of emphasis is that the college has accommodations for girls’ hostels and boys’ hostels though may be for staffs or for affiliated programs.

Balaji Mahila Mahavidhyalaya provides an overall coverage of full time courses for students having different areas of passion. The institution provides three undergraduate programs: Three years full time programs are the BA, B.Sc Maths Group, and B.Sc Bio Group. Post graduate courses include two years Master of Arts in Geography and Hindi Literature. These broad sets of programs enable students to study their desired courses at both undergraduate and post graduate levels. 

Admission to Balaji Mahila Mahavidhyalaya begins with merit whereby, deserving candidates can be offered a chance to study at university level. The college also follows the statutory reservations for ST, SC and OBC classes to educate the community.
