The Balamani Arunachalam Educational and Charitable Trust’s Group of Institution Faculty of Engineering, situated in Kancheepuram District of Tamil Nadu, is approved college which started imparting education from the session 2009-10. Located in Sattamangalam, Maraimalai Nagar this college has expanded much to provide a vast number of engineering and management courses. However, this college take in a total of 256 enrolled students and has only 8 professional faculties to teach the students. It presently teaches 8 courses which are spread throughout 4 degree programs in engineering and management disciplines.

The college has numerous amenities which are both intended to improve the college experience of students and accommodate students’ academic goals. It has accommodation facilities that will provide lodgings sections for the boys and ladies respectively to serve as hostels for students from other towns. A modern library center provides students with information that is needed, whereas research and specialized laboratories meet practical needs of students regardless of department. The college recognizes the health of students and therefore has a college health center that provides first aid. For those with interest in exercise, there is a gym on the compound to offer the exercise boosters. This institution also has an auditorium for event or seminars through which the campus life is active. A cafeteria ensures that students get healthy food and the college has guest rooms for faculties and families. The Balamani Arunachalam Educational and Charitable Trust’s Group of Institution Faculty of Engineering actively offers a wide of courses. The institute has 8 full time programs available to students and includes both undergraduate as well as postgraduate degrees. At the undergraduate level one can complete Courses such as Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics Engineering Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. For the enhancing the college education, the college offers Masters of Engineering commonly known as ME Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. Besides, in order to meet the needs of modern IT professionals, the institute offers Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree and in response to the ever growing demands of business leaders, it has a two year Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. 

The admission policy of Balamani Arunachalam Educational and Charitable Trust’s Group of Institution Faculty of Engineering considers the scores of state or national level entrance exams for the admission to the BE course in the engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. In case of ME, MCA and MBA as the programs for post graduation it is believed that the institute might have the prospect of taking entrance examination scores combined with academic performance of the qualifying degree examination into consideration.
