Baldev Ram Mirdha Institute Of Technology East Campus Sitapura (BMIT) is one of the prominent engineering college situated in the year 2003. The institute is situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan; it occupies a campus area of 2.5 acres at Sitapura IT Park. BMIT is affiliated with engineering providing a number of programs in the field of engineering. The institute started in the year 1998 and currently has 52 members in facult As an institute offering education in engineering disciplines, quality education is produced. BMIT has a unique approach of providing 5 courses under the same degree program in order to meet students’ interest in technology and engineering.

The institute has various functional facilities for students to enable them effectively cover their academic and other day-to-day needs. The luminary–the archive of BMIT–has a diverse set of 11,979 books focussed on all forms of learning. But is not a passive source of information combined with air-cooling, fire alarms, CCTV security systems etc. An e-library using ERP software is also available for students and faculty members to access books, journals technical papers and other informative CDs. Clerking and IT resources gives a comfortable environment to the students with a separate reading room and internet facilities. For the bodily health, students get a well-endowed gym and athletic amenities in BMIT. The sports club of the school arranges inter-house athletic meets in different indoor and outdoor games stressing upon sportsman spirit.

BMIT covers all branches of engineering where all our programmes are Full time B.Tech programmes. The institute provides five specializations under its B.Tech degree: Department in Mechanical Metallurgy Engineering, Electronics and Communication engineering, Civil engineering, Electrical engineering, Computer science and Engineering. Every program put forward is intended to give students as up-to-date education as possible under the respective subject. It is not quantified how exactly each course is to be populated with students, but what is clear is that all students enrolled in the institute are to receive quality education. These programs take four years to complete and afford adequate learning and field experience in the selected branch of engineering.

BMIT accepts students through entrance examinations as being the main entry standards. For admission to B.tech prospective students must appear in Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) or Joint Entrance Examination (Main). These or standardize test help the institute to admit student with good foundation in the mathematics and science which are core competencies to pursue courses in engineering. The institute also accepts scores obtained in JEE Main, which is a nationally conducted engineering entrance examination, hence the institutes’ strive to maintain strict criteria.
