Balmiki Teachers Training College, Vaishali, Bihar, was established in the year 2012 as an affiliated college. Being a co-educational institute, it is approved to impart only teacher education by NCTE. The college has 1 acre of a compact campus, and there are two full-time courses: one is B.Ed, or Bachelor of Education, a two-year program the other is D.El.Ed, or Diploma in Elementary Education, another two-year program. With an enrolment of 48 students and faculty strength of 16.

The college provides several in-campus facilities to help students with their learning. There is an equipped library, and the department-specific laboratories facilitate experiential learning. It takes care of the health of its students via a health center with first-aid facilities. It offers separate on-campus hostels for both boys and girls, so it is quite comfortable for students, especially those from distant places.
