Balwant College, Vita was a graduate-grade college that was established in 1963 and is affiliated. The college is located at Vita, Maharashtra. This qualified institution with rating from NAAC offers undergraduate as well as postgraduate programmes across disciplines. The sprawling campus of this college covers an area of 12.7 acres. As far as the student enrolment is concerned, there are 1,703 students, while the faculty members are 106 in number. Undergraduate Programmes: Among these, programmes can be divided into two streams- traditional ones like BA, B.Sc and B.Com and professional courses are BBA, BCA and B.Com in Information Technology. Postgraduate Programmes: The college provides an MA course in the faculties of English, Economics, History and Marathi and M.Sc programmes in all the branches of Chemistry, Physics, Zoology and Microbiology. In addition, the M.Com programmes in Advanced Accountancy and Taxation are also offered to the commerce students.
