Bapatla Polytechnic came into existence in the year 2001 at Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh, and is an affiliated college. This technical institution recognised by the AICTE of India provides different diploma courses on various fields of engineering. Located on a rather small piece of land of 5.2 acres, the polytechnic enrols 933 students in total and employs 37 members of faculty. Being an institution of engineering, it has offered its services for enhanced education in technology and has now gained recognition as Bapatla Polytechnic, mostly due to its policy to provide its students with the best that industry has to offer.

Modern technologies of learning are accompanied by a well-stocked library, as well as providing for practical experience in the specialised laboratories. The campus is equipped with a girls’ hostel, which provides a safe place for girl children to stay. Bapatla Polytechnic has five undergrad courses provided for three full-played years. The diploma courses it offers include Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and the newly added Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
