Co-educational affiliated Bapujee College, Barpeta, was founded in the year 1970 and is located in Sarthebari, Assam. The campus stretches over 15.43 acres and has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The college has a total student enrolment of 654, while the faculty stands at a strength of 30. It offers 11 courses in 3 degree programs. 

The college has many facilities to support student learning and development. It is in the midst of such amenities that stands a fully computerised central library, comprising a rich collection of textbooks, reference books, and periodicals relating to different subjects. In addition to a reading room, it also offers xerox facilities and a book bank. Among the several unique specialisations that the college offers are the Diploma in Information Technology Foundation and Web Design.

In general, admission to Bapujee College is merit-based for both the Honours and the Regular courses. Interestingly, the college reserves 50% of seats in all subjects offering major courses for students who have passed their Higher Secondary Final Examination from Bapujee College itself. The aim of this policy is to allow continuation, especially to the college's own students.
