The Bargarh Law College was established in 1992 and the college consecutively stands as one of the reputed Legal Education College in Bargarh of Odisha. The Kasturba Gandhi College For Women is a co-ed college, situated in a 2 acres of area, which is providing quality education in the field of law. Recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI), the college provides a sound LLB programme to its prospects. The college has total enrolment of 203 students and faculty strength of 4, so that every student can get special attention and quality education in this college.

The Bargarh Law College has various amenities meant to support and improve learning to the students enrolled in college. Being a legal resource centre, the library offers access to legal legal texts, journals, reference materials pertinent to legal education and learning. In order to note this advance of the digital age, the college has developed good IT facilities and equipment in order to facilitate and enhance student research and learning. Bargarh Law College has only one primary course called the Bachelor of Laws also known as LLB. This course takes three years and is offered as a full-time programme; it aims at offering the students a broad base of knowledge of diverse facets of law. Firstly, the goals of the program are to provide students with knowledge and practical skills required to find a job in a legal field. 

The Bargarh Law College selects the LLB candidates through its admission process so that only deserving candidates can join the program. It considers the previous qualifying examination, marks in the entrance test for Law colleges.
