Barkatullah University Institute of Technology was established in 1997. The campus of the institute spreads over an area of 30 acres of land. Barkatullah University Institute of Technology Admissions

Meeting the eligibility criteria is the first step of the Barkatullah University Institute of Technology admissions process. The institute accepts scores of JEE Main for B.E programme and GATE for M.Tech programme. For BUIT Bhopal admission to the M.C.A. programme, the institute accepts scores of the entrance test, conducted by VYAPAM, Bhopal. After that, candidates have to register for the DTE Bhopal counselling in the case of B.E and M.Tech programme and VYAPAM counselling for M.C.A. programme admission. According to the Barkatullah University Institute of Technology admission criteria, merit scores of the entrance test are considered for the allocation of seats during the counselling. Seats are also filled on the basis of the merit scores of the qualifying exam in case the seats remain vacant for B.E and M.Tech programme admission.

• Shortlisting of the candidates for MP B.E counselling on the basis of merit scores of the entrance test or qualifying exam.

• Register for DTE Bhopal B.E counselling and select Barkatullah University Institute of Technology.

• In case of vacant seats, they are filled on the basis of merit scores of the qualifying exam.

• Meet the eligibility criteria.

• Appear for GATE.

• Submit the MP M.E application form.

• Shortlisting of the candidates for MP M.E counselling on the basis of merit scores of the entrance test or qualifying exam.

• Register for the DTE MP online counselling and give preference to BUIT Bhopal.

• Allocation of seats on the basis of merit scores of the entrance test.

• If the seats remain vacant, then the seats are filled based on the merit scores of the entrance test and/or qualifying exam.

• Finally, submit the documents and pay the fees.

Barkatullah University Institute of Technology Cutoff

The institute releases the cutoff after the declaration of the result of JEE Main. The cutoff is the minimum marks required by the candidates to qualify for the next round of admission. For meeting the Barkatullah University Institute of Technology cutoff, candidates have to secure above opening rank and below closing rank. BUIT Bhopal cutoff is released separately for different category candidates.

Barkatullah University Institute of Technology Scholarships

Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities, Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses, Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College and University Students, etc are some of the scholarships, which students can avail at the institute. 1. Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities- To avail the scholarship candidates should have minimum 50% marks in the previous final examination. The annual family income should also be up to Rs. 2 lakhs. Under this scheme, Rs. 3,000 per annum is awarded.

2. Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses- This scholarship is awarded to the students who have minimum 50% marks in the previous final examination. Also, Rs. 2.5 lakhs should be the annual family income. Rs. 20,000 per annum is the scholarship amount awarded under this scheme.
