The college, having its address in Barpeta, the district of Barpeta, of the state of Assam, is an affiliated college, established in the year 2017 and is known as Barpeta Polytechnic. Affiliated to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), this is a technical institute that imparts diploma courses in engineering disciplines.
