Basaveshwara College of Commerce Arts and Science for Women, Bengaluru, was started in 1982 which is an affiliated college in the cosmopolitan city of Bengaluru, Karnataka. Located over a 2.5 acre area, this college has a plethora of commerce, arts and science courses. It is affiliated to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) which basically means; quality education is paramount to this college. The college has a student enrollment of 418 and faculty of 11 thus a student-faculty ratio of 38: 1. Basaveshwara College teaches 7 subjects in its 3 streams, which are History, Economics, Political Science, Physics, Mathematics, Electronics, Computer Science specialisations.

Basaveshwara College of Commerce Arts and Science for Women has many amenities with a view of making the college learning environment of the students better. BCCA& S, Tumakuru offers a total of 7 fulltime courses of only Commerce, Arts and science streams. These are Bachelor of Arts (BA) with majors in History, Economy and Political Science as well as Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) with major in Physics, Mathematics, Electronics Computer Science and combinations. The college also has a B.Com programme in its system of education marketed to students. All these courses are meant to be run and completed in a duration of 3 years.
