Baselius College, a private co-educational college at Kottayam, Kerala, started in 1964. National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accredited affiliated college offering a wide array of undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses for its students. Baselius College is located across an area of 15.81acres and has a total student population of 1684 with faculties of 91. The institute offers 22 subject combinations in eight different degree programmes in arts, science, and commerce. The college has ensured that gender balance is achieved in the students as is clearly demonstrated by relatively bigger percentage of female students in the college as is shown in the following breakdown, 56% of female students in the undergraduate course and 76% in postgraduate courses.

The college is likely to embark on construction of a multi-purpose synthetic hall for indoor physical activities.
