Bejoy Narayan Mahavidyalaya is one of the premier institutions of higher education in Hooghly, West Bengal. It was established in 1950. The institute has an affiliated college with a campus area of 11.84 acres and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The institution undertakes 22 courses under 5 degree programmes while enrolling a total of 4,870 students and with faculty strength being 53.

Bejoy Narayan Mahavidyalaya is there to provide excellent teaching and all the facilities for a good learning environment so that the growth of a student will be promoted in him-not only academically, but also personally. It has hostel facilities for both boys and girls separately, so the out-station students are assured of comfortable living within the campus.
