Believers Church Caarmel Engineering College is a committed believer scriptural institution for higher learning which was started in the year 2002. Kumily is located in Koonamkara P.O., Ranni- Perunad, Pathanamthitta District, Kerala The college is being built in 120 acre land. As an affiliated college, BCCEC provides different engineering courses for the student- enrolment . This institution has 99 members in this faculty to provide the quality education and focus on the students. BCCEC offers students seven courses, and two-degree programmes, through which engineering students can peruse their classroom pursuits across multiple engineering specialities.

Believers Church Caarmel Engineering College is conscious of the need to provide modern facilities in order to supplement the learning process of students. Available in the college campus, it has different hostels for boys and girls respectively to house about 400 students each. These hostels offer students quiet environment for studying associated with facilities for recreation, dining and medical attention. To get knowledge the college has rich library facility with over 20000 textbooks, 7000 e-books, and 2500 national/international journals. The capabilities of the digital library that complies with NPTEL e-learning courses and multimedia resources are available to take 300 users at once. In addition, for the athletic people, the college facilities such as basketball court, and a badminton hall with floodlighting are available.

Believers Church Caarmel Engineering College provides a total of 7 programmes and all of these programmes are full time programmes. The B.Tech programmes available for studies are Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, and  Mechanical Engineering. To all these B.Tech programmes, an approved intake of 60 students has been recommended. Besides, the college also has MBA course for those students who want to study management courses only. This is because the different sets of courses provided ensures that the students get many a chance to cover their areas of speciality in engineering and management.

Admission into the Believers Church Caarmel Engineering College is in accordance with the Common Entrance Examination administered by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations or any other competent authority. The college considers scores for the Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination (KEAM), the Karunya University Entrance Exam (Karunya University Entrance Exam [KEE]), and others. Other acceptable test of the institute are CAT, CMAT, and KMAT. Such a diverse acceptance of the entrance exam result offers a wide entry point for the intending students to get into BCCEC.
