Bengal College of Polytechnic, Durgapur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Bengal College of Polytechnic, Durgapur was established in the year 2013. The college is affiliated and constituent of Bidhan Nagar, Durgapur in West Bengal. The institute has an approval from All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, and offers diploma courses in different streams of Engineering. The institution provides a good environment for technical education with a total student enrolment of 685 and a faculty strength of 50. The institute offers five diploma courses in different specialisations to cater to the diverse interests of aspiring engineers in the region.

Bengal College of Polytechnic has all kinds of facilities that enable students to pursue their studies without any hassles. There are well-equipped laboratories in the campus for Civil, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, which gives hands-on experience to students. Other facilities include a library, sports facilities, and excellent IT infrastructure. The institute also offers separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. On-campus, there is also a health centre with first-aid facilities available. For recreation and events, the college has an auditorium and a cafeteria. Bengal College of Polytechnic runs a total of five full-time diploma courses in engineering. These are based on Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Computer Science and Technology. The total approved intake for all combined courses is 360 seats. All programmes are designed as three-year full-time courses to cover the respective fields comprehensively.                                                           

The admission process to any course of study in Bengal College of Polytechnic shall primarily be based on the rank obtained in the Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics, West Bengal, JEXPO.
