Bengal Institute of Polytechnic, Hetampur is one of the premier technical institutions in the year 2010. This affiliated college, located at a stone's throw from the Bakreswar Thermal Power Plant in the Birbhum district, West Bengal, has been guiding aspiring engineers for more than ten years. BIP is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education and offers different diploma courses in various branches of engineering. The institute has a vast campus of 5 acres, with a diversified student body of 500 and a dedicated faculty of 36 members.
