Beta College of Education, Hooghly, was founded in 2017 and aims to play an important role in the formation of the effective future education environment. Situated in Betamore, Hooghly, West Bengal, this co-educational college is an affiliated college that provides teachers’ education courses affiliated to the University of Burdwan. Beta College of Education is located in an area of land of 0.75 acres, as a result the college provides a specialised learning atmosphere to its students.

Beta College of Education has several complex structures that provide the infrastructure that seeks to support student life. An equipped library is regarded as a source of knowledge in common, and correspondingly, essential laboratories are valuable for practical sessions. For those who wants sports and get a shape, there’s a gym and other sports facilities here. The college also has an auditorium for occasions or seminars to make sure that the campus is active. For the management of the basic necessities of the students, that is food, there is a cafeteria that is used to meet the nutritional requirements that may be needed by the students. At present, Beta College of Education offers two full-time courses, the Bachelor of Education, (B.Ed) and the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). Both programmes duration is two years and have an approved capacity to accommodate 50 students for each programme and therefore has a total intake of 100 students. This kind of approach provides the possibility to pay much attention and offer high-quality education. The college has a remarkable student faculty ratio with 24 full time faculties and 100 number of students which indicates individual attention to students throughout the college period.

At the college, the selection of students is in compliance with the policies laid by the state government and the affiliated university.
