Bhagwati Prasad Mahavidyalaya Baberu was established in the year 2013,the college is situated at Banda, Uttar Pradesh. As a college that is relatively new, it has grown fast to become one of the recognizable colleges within the region. The college occupies a total of 3.0492 acres of land and provides education in numerous fields taught by the college’s 146 enrolled students. The institution has a faculty team of thirty five members to ensure a better student-teacher ratio. The college is also recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which increased the college focus towards quality education; specially teacher education programme.

Bhagwati Prasad Mahavidyalaya offers three full-time degree programs: This year the University will be offering Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Bachelor of Arts (BA), and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc). Since teaching profession is given much importance the college offers B.Ed program which is a two year course with an approved admission capacity of 100 students. The BA and B.Sc courses are three years courses by which students are well equipped with arts and sciences respectively. Although the college has not disclosed the exact intake for BA and B.Sc programs still the total intake of the college is 146 which shows the proper distribution of students among all courses. These diverse programs address the multiple learning needs and the various specialized training needs of students in the area. 

Admission criteria in Bhagwati Prasad Mahavidyalaya differ according to various courses offered.
