Bhai Gurdas Institute of Management and Technology (BGIMT) started in 1999 is an accredited and popular institution in Sangrur district of Punjab state. Located at a large and spacious area of 5 acres, BGIMT has made a name for itself in the Management and Technology discipline. The institute, an affiliated college recognised by AICTE – All India Council for Technical Education, lays down broad curriculum splits across multifaceted disciplines of full time programmes. BGIMT has two full time courses, which are undergraduate and postgraduate programme though it has many part time programmes. MBA and MCA  are degrees offered by the institute as per the various career interests. Of these courses, the MBA programme with an intake of 120 and MCA programme with an intake of 60 are considered the most innovative and the flagship courses. This is because the institute has offered full-time study mode for all its programmes which means dedicated and intensive study among students.
