Bharat College of Arts and Commerce, Thane, started in 1991 is an affiliated college located at Badlapur West, Maharashtra. The NAAC accredited institution provides the UG programmes in three streams namely arts, commerce, and science. The campus of the college comprises an area of 0.45 acres. It has around 696 students on roll in the roll consisting of 60% male students and 40% female students. This college has a faculty strength of 15 members and offers five different courses across three degree programmes, that is, specialising in commerce, management, and computer science. 

The Bharat College of Arts and Commerce is totally committed to providing a learning environment for its students. It has a spacious library that can accommodate a seating capacity of 60, offering a collection of around 3,600 books and subscriptions to 50 magazines and journals. The institution has two well-equipped computer laboratories with 27 and 30 computers each that support IT-related courses and digital literacy. Apart from the games played indoors and outdoors such as carrom, table tennis, chess, volleyball, badminton, and kabaddi, the institution also provides a space for a gymnasium for the students who are interested in fitness activities.

Bharat College of Arts and Commerce is offering a total of five programmes in undergraduate courses. All the courses provided are full-time courses. Courses such as B.Com (Aided), B.Com (Unaided), BMS- Bachelor of Management Studies, B.Sc in Computer Science, and B.Sc in Information Technology are being offered by the college.
