Bharat Institute of Management Studies, Mansa (BIMS) was established in 2009 at Sardulgarh, Punjab as affiliated college. BIMS is spread across a large campus of 3 acres and has a broad spectrum of management, commerce, and technology undergraduate & post graduate courses. The total number of students enrolment in the institute is 305, and the institute an array of 40 dedicated faculties. Currently, BIMS offers 8 courses in 6 programmes including Business Administration, Computer Applications, Information Technology Commerce and Sciences.

Bharat Institute of Management Studies boasts of having some of the best learning facilities that can see the students be even more focused and encouraged to achieve. The library has always been one of the important parts of Academic Resources Centre and consists of approximately 10,000 books in store, Various magazine and technical journals in excess of 50. For the lovers of sports and fitnessolics BIMS provides a possibility of both indoor and outdoor facilities for playing sports as well as visiting a gym. The campus is wireless enabled hence allowing the students to access the internet all over the compound. To meet the accommodation needs of different students, BIMS has a distinct hostel for boys and girls in which there is a homely environment facilitating cross cultural learning.

BIMS has a total of 8 courses which includes full time undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. At the present, the institute offers six bachelor programmes and two master programmes, as well as postgraduate diploma such as BCA, BBA, PGDCA, B.Com Hons., B.Sc in Non Medical and IT, and M.Sc in Mathematics and IT. The total approved intake envisaged for all the courses is 305 students which is apparent of the institute’s policy on student intake density per faculty.
